Event Hunt is a SotaZoo service. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit Event Hunt, request an invitation or use your account.

Information we handle

When you request an invitation, we store your email address, request and approval records, and invitation-mail status. When you sign in through Google and Supabase, we process your account identifier, email and session information to authenticate you. We also handle the account settings and support messages you provide. Our hosting and authentication providers process technical connection and security logs. The invitation endpoint uses a keyed network-source identifier to limit abuse.

How we use it

We use this information to review access requests, manage accounts, send invitation and service messages, answer support requests and protect the service. Requesting an invitation does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Providers and AI integrations

We use Render for hosting, Supabase for account and database services, Google for sign-in, and Brevo for invitation email. These providers process the information needed for their roles. If you authorize an AI client, it can receive the information covered by your consent, including your email and event recommendations. You can remove its authorization in AI integration. The AI provider handles information under its own policies. Event Hunt does not access your inbox or calendar as part of this service.

Cookies and storage

We use session cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security and interface settings. Source event links open third-party sites with their own policies.

Retention and your choices

We keep access-request, account and delivery records to operate invitation-only access. To ask about your information, correct it or request deletion, contact info@sotazoo.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to remain for security or legal reasons; provider logs and backups can follow separate retention schedules. This notice does not promise automatic expiry or immediate deletion.

Security and changes

We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information, but no service can guarantee complete security. We update this notice when our practices change and show the current effective date. Contact info@sotazoo.com with Event Hunt privacy questions.
